INFUSED WITH
Helichrysum Flower Essential Oil
Known to perfumery as immortelle, helichrysum essential oil is used in aromatherapy for calming nerves and combatting mental exhaustion. In Ayurveda, helichrysum balances pitta’s negative emotions such as bitterness, anger, stubborn negativity and resentment, reducing them and making room for calm.
Calendula Extract
Extracts of calendula, the pot marigold, have been used for millennia for their anti-inflammatory, skin soothing properties. Modern research has verified this activity and shown triterpenoids to be the origin of calendula’s anti-inflammatory power.
Virgin Coconut Oil
Rich in fatty acids, this intensive moisturiser helps to enhance the skin’s barrier function, ensuring that critical hydration and actives are held on and in the skin where they are needed especially during the skin’s active nighttime periods of self-repair that occur during sleep.
INGREDIENTS
Prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, Cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, parfum (fragrance), Persea gratissima (avocado) oil, Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, Calendula officinalis flower extract, citral, benzyl benzoate, benzyl salicylate, citral, coumarin, farnesol, geraniol, limonene, linalool.
THE PRACTICE
Use before bathing for a deep self-massage, working towards the heart with long, slow, firm strokes.
Add a few drops to bathwater as a sensorial, relaxing bath oil.
After bath or shower, instead of lotion, smooth a few drops onto damp skin in sweeping circular movements toward the heart.
